Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SnapCards ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SnapCards is an AI-powered study tool that converts uploaded documents (PDFs, notes) into flashcards. The Service includes flashcard generation, spaced repetition study sessions, deck management, export functionality, and a public deck library.

3. Account Registration

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under it. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or hack the Service
• Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-access the Service
• Share or distribute content from the public library without attribution
• Upload malicious files or content designed to exploit the system

5. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you upload to SnapCards. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process it for the purpose of generating flashcards. Flashcards generated by AI are derivative works — you own and may freely use, export, and share them.

When you publish a deck to the public library, you grant other users the right to clone and study from it. You can unpublish a deck at any time.

6. Subscriptions & Billing

SnapCards offers a free Starter plan and a paid Pro plan. Subscriptions are managed by our payment processor, Paddle. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to Paddle's terms of service.

• Pro subscriptions are billed monthly at the current listed price
• You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• No partial refunds are given for unused time in a billing period

7. Free Plan Limits

The Starter (free) plan includes a limited number of flashcard generations per month and a maximum number of decks. These limits are subject to change. Exceeding limits requires upgrading to the Pro plan.

8. AI-Generated Content

Flashcards are generated using artificial intelligence. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying generated flashcards before relying on them for study or examinations.

9. Service Availability

We aim to keep SnapCards available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service downtime.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

11. Limitation of Liability

SnapCards is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ukraine, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by PE Suleimanov N.R. and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

SnapCards is operated by PE Suleimanov N.R.
